Top 10 Things Therapy and Career Coaching Taught Me
Not every problem needs to be solved immediately.
Sometimes you first need to understand what you're feeling before deciding what to do.Your past can explain you, but it doesn't have to define you.
Understanding your patterns gives you the power to change them.Boundaries are not selfish.
Saying “No” can be an act of self-respect, both personally and professionally. You don't have to prove your worth.
Your value isn't determined by someone's approval, your job title, salary, or achievements.Clarity comes from action.
You don't always discover your purpose by thinking about it endlessly. Sometimes you discover it by trying, failing, learning, and trying again. You can outgrow people, environments, and even old versions of yourself.
Growth sometimes means accepting that what once felt right no longer fits.Feedback isn't always criticism.
Constructive feedback can reveal blind spots and help you become better—if you learn to listen without taking everything personally.Confidence is built, not magically found.
Every small decision, difficult conversation, completed goal, and boundary you maintain adds another layer of confidence. You are allowed to change direction.
A career change isn't necessarily failure. Sometimes changing direction means you've finally become honest about what you want.Healing and success are both journeys.
You don't need to have everything figured out. The goal isn't to become perfect—it is to become more self-aware, resilient, and intentional.
The biggest lesson
Therapy taught me to understand myself.
Career coaching taught me to believe in my possibilities.
Together, they taught me that healing isn't just about looking backward—it is also about deciding where you want to go next. ❤️
